Erin E. Castellan is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Painting at Indiana University's Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts in Bloomington, Indiana. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003, and runs an independent knitwear business, erineleanor, which specializes in ecofriendly, hand-loomed accessories. Following a 2004 Post-Graduate Apprenticeship at the Fabric Workshop and Museum, Erin resided in Philadelphia for 6 years. Her interdisciplinary work incorporating painting and fiber media has been exhibited at many venues, including the Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle, and the State Museum of Pennsylvania. Recently, her work was selected for the forthcoming International Painting Annual, published by Manifest Gallery of Cincinatti, Ohio.
