This painterly, one-of-a-kind image was made by applying ink to two or more plexiglass printing plates. The imagery was then transferred to a single sheet of paper using an etching press. Chine collé is a printmaking technique that adheres collage materials during the printing process. After printing, the paper was hand-embroidered and later printed again.
